Scorekeeping and Officiating Tests for Coaches and Players

This year CEVA will no longer be allowing club hosted clinics. Instead, there are 10 clinic dates spread over various regions in Oregon. These clinics are only for 1st and 2nd year players and coaches. If you can't attend the clinic in your region, you may attend a clinic in another region or at the CEVA office. Dates and Regions listed below. Club Directors please RSVP to Sarah at the CEVA office for your club.

CEVA Offices on Nov. 30th(FULL), Dec. 2nd (Full), Dec. 7th(FULL), Dec. 22nd (FULL), and Dec. 28th (FULL),all dates will start at 6pm
Eugene on Dec. 12th 1-4pm at Sheldon HS and Dec. 14th 6:30-9:30pm at Sheldon HS
Vancouver on Dec. 13th (FULL)6-9pm at Heritage High School
East County on Dec. 9th (FULL) 7-10pm at Mt. Hood CC
Bend on Dec. 15th 6-9pm at Bend High School
Salem on Dec. 9th (2 spots left) 6-9pm at Blanchet High School
Albany on Dec. 10th (FULL) 6-9pm at the Albany YMCA

Details

  • Each club must have the above requirements met by December 31, 2009.
  • Minimum: 20 people. Maximum: 45 people. (No more than 3 players per team can attend a scorekeeping clinic).
  • Cost for CEVA clinic is $5 per person-checks made out to CEVA.
  • Each clinic will be 3 hours long. The first 1.5 hours will be directed towards scorekeeping, the second 1.5 hours will be for officiating. Coaches please plan on being there for the whole 3 hour time slot.

Requirements

  • Officiating
  • Club Coaches with more than two years experience, take the online test ONLY. Test C
  • Club Coaches with two years or less will be required to attend a clinic AND take the online test. Test C
  • Scorekeeping
  • Players with more than two years experience keeping score, take the online test only. Test C
  • Players with two years or less will be required to attend a clinic.
  • 12U Teams: If a team parent wishes to attend a clinic, they will be allowed to assist a 12U team with scorekeeping. No more than 2 parents.
