NEWs: rule changes

Juniors
1. The Libero is allowed to serve within CEVA in accordance with the NCAA rules.
2. Libero Jersey must have a number and must meet all other criteria in the DCR.
3. There will be a ten minute warm-up the first two rounds of power league before the coin toss.

Adults
1. Uniforms – Players shirts and shorts need to be the same color (i.e. shirts – red, shorts – black). The style may be different.
2. The Libero is allowed to serve within CEVA in accordance with the NCAA rules.
3. Libero Uniform – Shirt must be contrasting in color. A number is not needed.

Playoff Game
1. A playoff game is considered a match and only one set will be played.
2. 1 set to 15 points, must win by 2. No switching at 8 points.
3. Penalty for teams that do not fulfill their officiating responsibilities during a tournament
4. The assigned officiating team will be penalized 1 point per minute up to a maximum of 25 points (one game), which will be imposed at the beginning of the team’s next match.

12’s Step in Rule
U12’s are allowed to step into the court to make contact for the serve.

Junior Girls Teams
Boys 14 & under will be allowed to play on the girls Junior teams with the appropriate age level. Girls 14U/Boys 14U, Girls 12U/Boys 12U. Uniforms for the boys may vary a little but must be the predominate color of the rest of the team.
They will only be allowed to play in the CEVA region

CEVA Offices
CEVA will now recognize a BLACKOUT week, this means there will be NO paperwork accepted the week before any CEVA hosted tournament. This means no changes or updates!
